Terms of Service

1. What InkTrade is

InkTrade is a free, community-run platform that lets Lorcana players find each other and arrange direct card trades. We connect traders — we are not a party to any trade, we do not hold cards, and we do not hold money. Every trade happens directly between two users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use InkTrade. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian review these terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Use a strong, unique password. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

4. Listings and trades

When you list a card or propose a trade, you agree that:

• You own the card and have the right to trade it.
• Your description — condition, set, name, foil status — is accurate and honest.
• You will follow through on accepted trades in a reasonable time.
• You will ship to the address your trade partner provides, packaged safely.

5. No guarantees

InkTrade cannot guarantee that any trade will be completed, that cards will arrive as described, or that the other party will follow through. Trading involves trust. We provide reputation scores and a review system to help you evaluate traders, but we cannot verify every listing or enforce trade outcomes. You trade at your own risk.

6. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• List cards you do not own or do not intend to send.
• Misrepresent a card's condition, edition, or authenticity.
• Accept a trade with no intention of shipping.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate your reputation score.
• Use InkTrade for any commercial purpose (buying/selling for money).
• Attempt to access or interfere with other users' accounts or our systems.

Violations may result in permanent account suspension without notice.

7. Dispute resolution

If a trade goes wrong, your first step should be messaging your trade partner directly. You can also block them to prevent future contact. InkTrade is a peer-to-peer platform — we cannot issue refunds, reverse trades, recover cards, or compel any user to take any action. Filing a report flags the trade on our records but does not guarantee any outcome. For significant losses, your options are small claims court or a complaint with your local consumer protection agency.

8. Limitation of liability

InkTrade is provided as-is, free of charge, with no warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, InkTrade and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform, including failed trades, lost mail, or disputes with other users.

9. Intellectual property

InkTrade is an independent, fan-created platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Disney or Ravensburger in any way. Lorcana and all related names, imagery, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Card names and set names appear on this platform solely to help users identify cards for trading purposes.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. We'll post the new version here with an updated effective date. Continued use of InkTrade after changes means you accept the updated terms.
